The hype created around the South African tour is amazing because the dates and venues have not yet been confirmed yet, which measures the PR difference of the alertness of South African media to market and advertise on international artists and the lack of Marketing and advertising that we have in South Africa towards our own local talent. ReplyDeleteI’m personally against this MC being labelled the queen of hip-hop, for me she’s a new comer. The Queen of of hip-hop is none other than LIL’ KIM aka Queen-B, Minaj knows it herself hence for no apparent reason she started verbally attacking Lil’ Kim even duplicated her style. Think she has just been a shadow of Drake that’s my perception of her in fact if were to see her convoy roam our streets show her the middle finger!!
ReplyDeleteNicki Minaj is said to be the queen of hip hop because of the record sales she has managed to sell as a female rap star. her new album managed to sell 253.000 copies in its first week. most accomplished rappers can't push that much numbers anymore. Lil kim and Eve have never surpassed 100.000 copies. nuff said
